This Blog is our way of communicating to all interested parties on issues affecting us. Problems that are being faced by members will be highlighted here. Please feel free to post your comments and advice where applicable.
Who are we?
- CAHC
- CAHC is a sub committee of APAC (the all Petaling Jaya Residents' Association Coalition). This committee was set-up to defend and protect the rights of the owners and residents of Condominiums, Apartments and Highrise Buildings. Amongst the issues that have been taken up by the committee are assessment rates, water rates, the Building and Common Property Act 2007.
APAC - All PJ Residents' Association Coalition
APAC started off with Edward Lee ( now YB Edward Lee, ADUN Bkt Gasing) the chairman of Sec 5 RA as the protem chairman. APAC remains non-political, thus YB Edward Lee has to excuse himself from the chairmanship and remains now as the advisor.
APAC was properly registered with the authorities - 0245 -08-SEl in March 2008.
APAC started off looking into issues within the MBPJ area including crime, bill boards and a host of other local government related matters. In the course of these, it was discovered that the Strata Titled properties had many issues unique to them.
Thus a sub-committee was formed under the chairmanship of Tengku Nazaruddin and we now have CAHC.
